Continuous PR, with a human hand on every send
HE4RD is not a mail-merge tool and not a press-release wire. It is a pipeline that turns what is happening in your company into individual, reviewed pitches to the right people.
1. Your story goes in once
Onboarding captures what makes you pitchable: what the company does, the numbers you can stand behind, your strongest opinions, samples of your writing, and the topics or outlets you never want touched. This becomes the source material for everything the system drafts.
2. The system watches for reasons to pitch
A feature ship, a milestone, a data point, an industry moment you have a view on, or a journalist actively requesting sources. Each one becomes an opportunity with an angle and a shelf life.
3. Matching, not blasting
Every opportunity is scored against a hand-curated database of journalists, podcast hosts, newsletter editors and awards programmes. Beat fit, outlet fit, geography and how recently we have contacted them all count. If nobody fits, nothing is sent. There are hard limits: no person hears from us more than once a month, and unsubscribes are permanent.
4. One pitch per person, drafted for that person
The pitch references the recipient's actual work, leads with why their audience would care, and asks for one small thing: a conversation, a quote, a listen. It is drafted with AI assistance in a house style that bans hype words, then queued for review.
5. A human approves every email
Nothing is sent autonomously. A human reads each draft, edits or rejects the weak ones, and approves the good ones. Emily, our outreach manager, is the name on every email, and every reply lands with the same review process.
6. Everything is tracked to the end
Delivery, replies and resulting coverage are logged against the original pitch, so you always know what was sent, to whom, and what it earned. That record also makes the system smarter about who to pitch next.
Why the human review matters
PR runs on trust with journalists. One bad automated email can burn a relationship that took years to build. The review step keeps quality above the bar a good in-house PR person would set, at a pace no human team can match.
